Growth Spurt!

Eleven days ago at Carson's two week check-up he weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz, the doctor wasn't concerned about his weight but did say he should be gaining roughly an ounce a day. So, she wanted us to come back in for a weight check 10 days later. Well, we went today, the 11th day, to make sure he was gaining weight like he was supposed to. According to the ounce a day goal his target weight for today was 8 lbs 9 oz..... Well, our little man, being the over achiever that he is, blew that number out of the water! Today he weighed a whopping 9 lbs 2.5oz! Woo Hoo! Way to go Carson! On a side note: You've got to be jealous....How many people celebrate when you gain weight? haha The doctor was super proud of his weight gain and told us to keep doing what we were doing, and that he looked great (Come on doc, tell us something we don't already know....) We knew the kiddo was getting bigger, he's been eating like a horse! It's amazing how fast he growing and changing!

Carson got bored waiting on the doctor...So did Mommy.

Today was the first time I had to take Carson to the doctor by myself, and of course he was a little angel! He must really love his mommy! He slept through his whole exam. The little guy was all spread out on the table catching some serious Z's, I feel sure he doesn't even know the doctor was there! haha

Words can describe how much we love this little guy... All 9 lbs 2.5 oz of him! We feel so blessed to have such a healthy baby boy :)

This is totally unrelated to this post but I wanted to share:

Lately when Carson really gets to crying he's been dangerously close to having tears! It's the saddest thing ever when we pick him up and his little eyes are all glassy. It's just going to melt our hearts the first time we see those big crocodile tears running down his face!
